What started out as one silversmithing class, became a lifelong passion for designing and manufacturing jewelry.

With more than 30 years in the jewelry industry, Mark has  extensive experience in every aspect of the jewelry business -- from pencil sketches and computer-aided design to wax modeling and manufacturing.

After a decade teaching jewelry design at the world-renowned Gemological Institute of America, Mark helped develop and manage the Institute's Jewelry Design and Technology program.

Then in 2014, Mark launched Maxwell CAD Designs to create unique custom jewelry designs that can go from screen to store.

Leveraging his experience as a custom jewelry designer and certified Master Goldsmith, Mark creates CAD models with a keen eye for manufacturability and affordability.
