Communicating your design is critical to get the best results. It starts with and idea and sketches, but the process of moving from 2-D to 3-D is fraught with possible problems. Utilizing screen sharing software allows you the client to see your design in 3 dimensions as it is rotated in space, or zoom in to view a small detail. Take control of the cursor to point out specifics of the model for editing.

Using this technology allows for very fast and accurate design edits, plus it is pretty fun.

We recently had a client who wanted to custom design her engagement ring using several significant heirloom diamonds she had inherited. After speaking to the customer, we were able to determine the ring style she wanted and created a drawing based on her specific requests.

One difficulty in the design was incorporating three very large diamonds of various sizes and shapes into an antique style ring with a feminine look. We contacted Mark Maxwell to transfer this drawing into a CAD design. He has an extensive background in jewelry design and was very receptive to our concerns about proportion and structural integrity while keeping the customers style in mind.

Mark's background as a working goldsmith combined with his CAD skills made this the easiest and most stress-free CAD experience we have ever had. The design was completed in a very timely manner with very few changes needed. Mark even connected us with a great resource for platinum casting. It was a pleasure to work with Mark and we will most certainly use his services in the future.
